Updated: Feb 19

On Saturday 4th June, as part of their Jubilee Celebrations, Romsey Conservative Club had a hog roast with all proceeds going to local charity, Youth in Romsey. Youth in Romsey provide vital work supporting young people in Romsey and Romsey Conservative Club were proud to raise funds for this essential service for young people. Dave Maslen, Chairman of Romsey Conservative Club, presented a cheque for £1,000 to Staff and a Trustee of Youth in Romsey at their premises on Southampton Road.

Linda Bate from Youth in Romsey commented ‘We would like to thank the Conservative Club for raising such a significant amount for us at Youth in Romsey. We are in the process of updating our resources for our Youth Clubs, focussing specifically on sensory equipment which we can use for Allsorts, our youth club for young people with disabilities and also for our work supporting young people under the age of 11 years.

This donation will be put to good use here and enable us to provide much needed equipment. If others would like to support us, then please donate via our website using the donate option which takes you to our Localgiving website page.’
